Have you ever walked by a restaurant with it's doors wide open only to have the immediate thought of, "Oh my goodness, what is that smell?" That pungent, musty garbage disposal smell. Like, haven't done a deep cleaning in years, kinda smell. Like, we're going for the record, kinda smell. Not very inviting, right? Welcome to Chicago's Best! A virtual refuge for bugs, critters and probably salmonella and botulism. I couldn't even get myself to walk through the entrance! Reading the reviews, I was taken back by the overwhelming message of AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST! So we did and we ate at Peppers instead. Thanks Yelp! Ya probably saved me from an all-nighter sitting on the ol' turd tank.

If you want poor service and basic food come here. My husband got a pizza and I got a Philly cheesesteak. I returned mine because it tasted nothing like a good Philly cheesesteak. Then watched and heard the workers talk about me saying "Did you ask her if she's ever had a Philly cheesesteak?" I confronted them and they played dumb and laughed at me. I never expect this service anywhere. So find somewhere else in town.

Indoor seating is cramped but outdoor seating is good. My son wanted pizza with bacon and pepperoni and was told that he couldn't order it because all the slices of pizza were made and frozen. I suspect our large pizza dough had been frozen as well, it had a tough chewy consistency.

Pizza is great, no doubt, but. We ordered a delivery to The Barrel (bar with an amazing beer list). They gave us a half hour ETA...50 minutes later I walked up and saw my pizza sitting above the ovens, staff not busy. Don't expect your delivery to make it to you any time soon...did I mention they do have good pizza.

Worst service ever!!!!!! Waited over 30 minutes for our food (2 simple chicken sandwiches). We went to ask them what's taking so long, they were completely clueless about our order and had no idea where it is was. It seems like they hadn't even started making it. The outside seating area is dirty and looks like it hasn't been cleaned in days. We ended up requesting a refund and walking out after waiting 35 minutes for our food. We will never come here again.

SO yummy!!! If your expecting "true" Chicago pizza, you will be disappointed. It is a breadier pizza than NY style, but it is not deep dish Chicago. That being said, our pizzas were delicious!!! We ordered the surpreme, meat lovers, chix bacon ranch and the white pizza all in various sizes since we used delivery. The surpreme is the only one I ate, but I was assured by the husband that the rest were delicious as well. Meaty, spicy, crispy vegs all on top of a great pizza sauce/cheese ratio!!! If you can get past it NOt being real Chicago pizza, you will love your pizza!

Seemed like a good place to eat as it was packed. My kiddos had hamburger kids meals, I indulged in a turkey sub and my husband had a Reuben. We all enjoyed our food and our time together having lunch. We have eaten at many places in Estes Park and I give a 2 for the fact that it was kind of filthy inside. Not the kind of filthy where you just got busy; it was dirty like it had not been deep cleaned in a year or 2. There is a dirty station of cups and plates in the back where you get your drinks and my feet stuck to the floor. This was one of those times I was thankful for 24 hours to pass that I did not get sick because I feel like I was really taking a chance.

Being from Chicago I had to stop and try this place out. The sign outside may say Chicago but the nasty tasting pizza says cheap East Coast style. From the over seasoned sauce the the bland tasting crust. The Italian Beef is sliced too thick and is extremely tough to chew. Not like your melt in your mouth way Italian Beef is supposed to be. The gravy had merit but again the marinara was way over seasoned. On top of which it took over 30 minutes to get our order. For a few flipping sandwich and slice of pizza The only thing that says Chicago about this place besides the decor is the cheap way this place is run.

I'm giving this place 2 stars. I'm from Chicago and when you have eaten at places like Al's Beef, Gino's East, Giordano's, Portillo's, etc...then to call yourselves Chicago's Best is very disappointing. With a name like that, you have to stand out and represent Chicago to the fullest! First, when you walk in, the place is a decent size with a back patio seating area but only one tiny area is decorated with Chicago teams...when I say tiny I'm talking about two posters and a painting. Second, the Italian beef was extremely loaded with black pepper. I asked for hot peppers and they slathered the olive oil heavily from the peppers making the bread very soggy. It wasn't good. I ate it anyways because my mom taught me never to waste food. Lastly, the pizza was just ok. For $4 a slice...I was thinking "man Costco pizza is better than this!" If you're from the Midwest, then I don't recommend this place and if your not...well I guess you won't know the difference between real Chicago and this place.

My first review ever: Disappointing!!! I have lived in this town for 20 years and have enjoyed the food for here through the years. Decided to go down town and try some this last week. I ordered up the Philly cheesesteak and the wife ordered a Greek salad. Absolute crap, the Philly cheesesteak was dry dry dry, shaved beef with a sprinkling of onions peppers and cheese, it was more like shaved beef without au jus. The wife's small (verse the large) salad: iceberg lettuce 2 olives 2 small tomatoes edges no red onion for six plus bucks what the @$!#. Oh, and the staff seem disinterested at best. Stasi what is up.

I used to make it a destination place but it must have change ownership. A Philly cheesesteak is now dry and hard to choke down. A Reuben the same. Their sandwiches used to be so juicy that they were sloppy. I've gone here for the last time. TW Moffatt, Lakewood Colorado

After walking around downtown, we decided to order a pizza to go. Found this great little piza place. It must be popular for lunch everyone there was eating pizza by the slice. It looked & smelt delicious!! We ordered a Pineapple, Canadian Bacon with Jalapenos. The staff was nice & it only took 15 minutes. Got home & coudn't wait to dig-in. The Pizza was delicious & the crust was not your usual tasting crust. Very Yummy... Would be a great place in the summer with the back patio that is pet friendly....Look forward to trying other menu items.

Not very good. First off it took a long time to get out pizza. My group ordered one full pizza and I got a couple of slices of the meat. The slices were terrible. It basically looked like a frozen pizza that had been sitting out for about an hour; I've actually had much better frozen pizzas. The full pizza did look better than the slices at least. We will not be back. If you are in Estes Park there has to be far better places to eat.

Lols, ew. The food is on some generic Costco mass-produced tip. Everything is dirty; like, literal cobwebs. This is like one of those places you see on Bar Rescue where it's a total wreck and Jon Taffer has to go in and change everything. Actually, I know a girl who works for Jon Taffer. Italian beef is very mediocre. It's definately no Portillo's. The peppers aren't the same, sandwich was overall very bland. I would pass on the beef here, other food did look good though.

I'm from Chicagoland. Have had plenty of Chicago-style pizza. Pan pizza. Delicious pizza. This IS NOT Chicago-style pizza. BUT.... This pizza is still....very good. WAS NOT expecting to like the pizza here -- I love Estes Park, but as you know these places open and close with relative frequency, the prices are high and often times the food is just mediocre. Not the case with the pizza here. I was pleasantly surprised. Crust was crisp and buttery -- usually the part I like LEAST about pizza, but this crust was excellent. Sauce was just the right amount and more on the salty/herby side which I always prefer. Cheese and ingredients were on point. And my family devoured it. I mean, every last piece of the 16" pizza. Service was fast and friendly and this place was BUSY. Biggest negative of Chicago's Best? The drink/silverware/etc. station. What a heaping mess. Plates with food on it, dirty dishes, used drink cups, food on the countertop. Ugh. Gross. Definitely need someone to keep up with that on a busy Friday night.

We wanted beer and pizza. The smell was amazing, so we wandered in. The pizza looked great. We ordered a meat lover's but were bummed to discover that they did not serve beer. Much to our surprise, however, they offered to deliver our pizza to a local bar if we wanted to go down the street and have a beer. Problem solved! The pizza was wonderful. The crust was perfect. It's a must try on your trip to Estes! The staff is extra friendly as well.

The food was fine, but the restaurant itself needs a lot of help. It's old, dirty and there is ONE small unisex bathroom. After all this time you'd think they'd be able to upgrade and remodel a bit. We probably won't go back with all the other pizza choices in Estes Park.
(1)

The pizza did not taste fresh. I ordered a veggie slice and it was flavorless and dry. The Greek salad was a bunch of lettuce. My husband didn't finish the 2 slices that he ordered. They were burned and dry . I won't ever come back.

The food is so-so. We went Sunday and the town was packed. There were only about 10 people in the restaurant, and it took 15 minutes to get one slice! The cook acts like he's on heroin or quaaludes or something. Everyone moves like they're 100 years old! Very slow and no sense of urgency at all. All of Estes has bad customer service, probably because there's never a manager or owner working, just teenagers that could care less. Chicago's Best used to be a lot better, but the horrible employees ruin it. Good prices, but not worth it, you'll leave pissed off. And yes, real dirty!
(2)
Stephanie M.
Waited forever for our food and when we asked about it the staff acted confused about our order. Found out later the cook went on a smoke break. When we finally got the cheesesteak and Italian steak it was gross. It was really just tough roast beef with a lot of pepper. Will NOT ever go there again!!!!!

Best calzone that I've had...its a mom and pop buy teetering between extremely charming and horribly uncomfortable. I will be back but the staff obviously has a lot to work out and openly argues and eats their food right by the register. They take credit cards now using square but must be new because the kitchen and front end have some issues communicating. I like mom and pop joints and again the food was good, but the staff needs to work their junk out elsewhere and step up the professionalism a bit.

I was out-voted 4-1 when our group decide on eating here. They decided to have a Chicago's Best specialty pizza to share between the four of them and I decided to have a chicken gyro. When the order arrived, the pizza (thin crust) was PIPING HOT and it was not just delicious to taste (I had a bite or two) but delicious to look at (albeit the meat and vegetables was floating in grease). The gyro was full of meat but nothing to write home about. My issue with this place is the LENGTH of TIME it takes from when you order your food to the time it is actually delivered to your table. I don't care if you have the best tasting pizza in the WORLD! 45 minutes is a LOOOOOOONG wait for a restaurant pizza. Worse, my GYRO came AFTER the pizza was brought to our table. REALLY? FIFTY minutes to make a chicken gyro??? As the rating goes.., "Eek! Me thinks not!"

Never have I been so sick in my life. I should have known from the sticky floor and the messy tables that I shouldn't have eaten here but I gave it a try. I was sick within hours and it ruined my visit. I would not recommend this place to my friends.

Excellent pizza! Highly recommend. We had the cheese & the meat lovers & they both had TONS of flavor. The crust isn't the boring flour crust , it's the yellow semolina one. Sooo good!!

Not impressed. Paid $30 for a pizza that was so tasteless. Veggies on pizza made it watery, sauce & toppings were so bland. Cheese didn't taste like real cheese. Very disappointing.

Pretty good food and friendly staff. Tried a calzone and a Santa Fe chicken sandwich. I ate here about two years ago and remember the calzone's are huge. The only downside is that with the doors open quite a few flies made their way into the restaurant. Worth a visit if you want a good calzone.

Terrible service. Ordered food. Sat for over an hour. No food showed up. Went and asked where it was and the guy working said "Oh your order isn't up here". How do you lose an order for 3 pizzas. Everyone around us seemed to come and go with no problems. I'm not from the area and I won't return. Wish I could give less than 1 star.

BEST PIZZA IN ESTES! We went here 2 days ago (12/24/11) and it really wasn't planned, just popped in there for lunch while shopping. They have a pretty good selection of pizzas. Like the previous review, I'm not a boring pizza eater. I like to try specialties or lots of toppings. My husband and I never agree on pizza so we ended up getting two small pizzas. He tried the supreme and I got the BBQ chicken pizza. Both were delicious! Their BBQ chicken pizza was probably one of the best I've had! The sauce was tangy, but still tasted like pizza sauce and I love their crust. The supreme pizza was also very good, my husband loved it. The only down side is it's kind of a small place. I did like the checkers sets on the tables. My husband and I played checkers while waiting for our pizzas. It was a silly way to pass the time, but we'll never forget it. I highly recommend this place!

This is by far my favorite place in Estes Park and the Family who owns it are amazing. If anyone ever gets bad service up there it is most likely because they are limited on their applicants as far as the counter people go...not their fault...just the result of being in a small mountain tourist town. They usually have to resort to highschoolers...so give em a break on that one. Their food is fantastic and the atmosphere is fun. If you stick around Estes on the weekends you should check out Kelli's Lounge upstairs..I was their last night and it is by far they best place in Estes for younger folk that want to dance and drink. Everywhere else is filled with grizzled old Estes locals. My favorite is the chicken Philly with hot peppers....sooooooo good

A very reasonably priced place with good food. We bought a couple slices, a "plain" Chicago dog (so, a hot dog), and an Italian beef. The pizza is pretty bready, but otherwise tasty. The Italian beef was cooked well, very juicy, and soaked with tasty juices. They did right by the Chicago dog, serving it on a poppy seed roll. The baked fries were a nice surprise - very good! Best of all, total price for dinner was about $15. Hard to beat that!

Best pizza in Estes Park. Not the "nicest" interior but a great place to order take-out. They chicken ceasar salad wrap is really good too if you're wanting something more light. The owners are really nice people and have done a great job!! Try the homemade baklava (spelling?), it's yummy!!

I asked another store owner in downtown Estes if he knew of a good pizza place. Without hesitating he said "Chicago's Best" just across the street. He did warn me that the inside of the restaurant wasn't great as far as ambiance but since I'd brought along a book to read, it didn't matter. I ordered a 10" 1/2 cheese & 1/2 pepperoni. It was so delicious I had to restrain myself from consuming the whole thing in one sitting! You've gotta check this place out!

Recommended thick crust pizza. Take out or delivery. Indoor and outdoor seating but not a showplace. Parking in city lot behind restaurant.

Alright so first off this place was kind of a last resort. It's hard to go to Estes Park and get decent food since eveything is so touristy. I usually go to Bob and Tony's for pizza but the person I was with didn't like them. We ended up at Chicago's Best and let me tell you something. I have been to Chicago and this is no where near the "Best". They got my order wrong; I ordered a hawaiian that didnt come with anything on it but cheese so they just gave me a cup of meat and pineapple. Wow.

On a recent visit our family stopped here for lunch, all of us had different hot sandwiches Philly, Parmesan chicken, and a chicken pita, they were seriously lacking any flavor although the quality of the meats were very lean. Two stars is solely based on what we chose, their pizza had a great aroma and looked very good, maybe next time.

Rude employee, substandard food. What else can you say about a place that gives you serious stomach issues? It came recommended by one of the shop owners down the street who we now think gets a kick-back or something. Avoid!!

Amazing, amazing, amazing. This is not someplace we had planned to stop, but the restaurant of our choice was closed for the winter. A friend who works in town said this is the only place she will eat, so we took her advice and stopped in. My 3 year old had a slice of the cheese pizza. It was huge (and $2!) and just as I remembered "real" Chicago pizza. She ate it all, which, considering the size, means it must have been great. My husband and I both had subs. He had some sort of Italian one that he said was the best he's had in recent memory, and I had a hot turkey sub which took me back to my favorite sub place in college at the University of Minnesota, which until now were the best subs on the planet. This one gave it a run for the money. I snooped on some other tables who had pizzas and they looked amazingly delicious. Deep dish with overflowing toppings. We also could see them preparing the pizzas and subs in the kitchen and I was drooling over the pizzas as they came out of the oven! They have a bunch of board games you can use while you're there, too. A couple families were playing checkers and dice. Not a huge place, so in the summer getting a table would be hard! I don't give 5 stars easily, but Chicago's Best proved itself worthy.

I live in Chicago and I can assure you this is not Chicago's best! My friend wanted to try this place while taking a day trip to Estes Park (from Brighton - not Chicago)! The beef and italian sausage combo was not that good. The pizza wasn't much better, not even for locations outside Chicago. The service was slow. The restaurant and restrooms were dirty. Definitely not Chicago's best, or Estes Park's best for that matter.

Wow - it's hard to exaggerate how horrible the pizza is here. Incredibly awful - unless you happen to love soggy, doughy pizza. The worst I've ever had, and the same is true for their wings. It's hard to imagine what they're thinking serving this crap, but they're obviously not concerned about repeat business. PS - beware all the positive reviews you read here. The owner considers him/herself to be very social media savvy, and any review of this place that uses the adjective "amazing" with more than one star is a total lie...

When we venture out of Fort Collins into an unfamiliar city, we typically do one of two things when making a decision on where to eat. 1. Play Restaurant Roulette and pick a place at random (often The Husband's preferred decision-making option). 2. Pull up the Yelp mobile app on my phone to find a place with a high rating that is relatively close. When we go on major road trips or overnight weekend getaways (like Denver), I make sure to thoroughly research restaurants so that we are bound to have an enjoyable meal. If we are just going on a quick day trip, we utilize the two decision making tools. Well, that's all going to change now. I cannot count how many times we've been let down by peer review sites and picking at random. But, I continue to use the app because of the Geoloaction function. Results are just as horrific by pointing a finger to any old place. The worst city to do this in is Estes Park. We have failed miserably at finding decent places to eat there, and the worst experience by far has been at Chicago's Best. This was equivalent to cafeteria pizza. Flavorless pizza that was worse than the frozen pizza we had in our freezer back home. The very worst part - and something that I've never, ever tasted in all of my years of eating pizza - the cheese quality was so poor that it disintegrated in my mouth. It was the same texture as over-chewed gum with its broken down structure, and it reminded me most of a breath freshening dissolve strip, melting in a way that left a greasy film. It was this way on every single slice we ordered. The service was average and it did take quite a bit of time for us to actually get our pizza, but we waited patiently because we were getting freshly baked pizza. Sadly, we were served freshly baked crappy pizza with the worst cheese I've consumed to date.

Italian beef is very mediocre. It's definately no Portillo's. The peppers aren't the same, sandwich was overall very bland. I would pass on the beef here, other food did look good though.

Indoor seating is cramped but outdoor seating is good. My son wanted pizza with bacon and pepperoni and was told that he couldn't order it because all the slices of pizza were made and frozen. I suspect our large pizza dough had been frozen as well, it had a tough chewy consistency.

The pizza did not taste fresh. I ordered a veggie slice and it was flavorless and dry. The Greek salad was a bunch of lettuce. My husband didn't finish the 2 slices that he ordered. They were burned and dry . I won't ever come back.

Slices came out burnt. Tastes like frozen pizza. Crowded and dirty. No beer. Will not be back.

Went here for the 2nd time and I totally love their pizza!! Best pizza in Estes and even better than other pizzas I've had. If you like the "crunchy" type of crust then this is your place. Why 4 stars? Place looks a little bit desorganized and service was kind of slow.
(4)
Brian H.
Very good pizza with an excellent hand-tossed crust - perfect balance of thickness, chewyness, and crunchiness. Toppings were fresh and abundant. I'd hit this place up again the next time we're in EP.

Super friendly staff, and good family atmosphere. They didn't have a vegetarian sandwich on the menu, and were very accommodating. The owner whipped me up a yummy veggie sandwich to rival the ones I regularly make at home! My boyfriend ordered a slice of Hawaiian and was also very happy. Both of us got spot hitters.

Worst lunch ever. Service was fast and that is only good thing to say, except for clean outside dining. But food was lousy. Salad was yuck - lettuce was brown on edges. Philly cheese steak was worst ever. Do not recommend this place unless hungry and not picky!

The pizza was fine, maybe even more than fine. It was tasty. It took a bit for the food to be served. The staff were simply there to work. This is the only place in the entire state of Colorado that the staff weren't outrageously friendly. They didn't smile, they didn't have good eye contact, they weren't at all friendly. The bathroom was filthy and this is a really big turn off to me. It tells a story and I would never go back to a place who doesn't think it's important to keep their entire restaurant clean. Nope, wouldn't go back. :(

Apart from the racist/prejudiced pinhead and his wife that sat across from our party, a late lunch here today was pretty enjoyable. I'd been here twice before, once in summer, once in winter. Very different in the off-season! I appreciate that they stay open even when Estes isn't full of the summer time hordes. Always good salads though. I like both the Caesar and the Greek with their grilled herbed chicken. Yummy bread too. Have yet to try the pizza. Not too into the sandwiches... too much mayo, not enough zest. The patio is alright but if you want patio dining on the river, go elsewhere, this is more enclosed and concrete feeling (hot). Friendly service.

This was the worst dining experience I've ever had. I can't comment on the quality of the food because I never received my order, but the quality of service was insulting. A group of us went for single slices. Most of our group received their slices, but two of us didn't. After about 15 minutes we inquired about the status of our food and we were told "it's coming." Another 15 minutes passed and we inquired once again. We were told "8 minutes, short on ingredients." At this point our group had finished eating and were Waiting on us. Another 20 minutes passed and still nothing. I finally approached the counter (after 45 minutes) inquiring again and all I received was a blank stare. My pizza slice was a non existent distant dream in a long lost universe. I never was served and there was no explanation as to why. I ended up asking for my money back. . All I was told was that it was "crazy all day" and something about the pipes being frozen. This place lacks the customer service needed to be successful and welcoming. No one did a single thing to rectify my experience and the staff was solely apathetic and disregarding. Having worked in the service industry before I understand times can get chaotic, but that is no excuse to ignore and disrespect a paying customer. The owner should know, your employees here could not care less about your business. I never received an apology and that was the biggest mistake of the evening -absolutely no accountability. Good luck to you if you venture here.

Stopped in on a lark... big mistake! I have never in my life eaten pizza I had to add salt to to make it taste like something other than cardboard. By far one of the worst pizzas I have ever eaten. And the bratwurst... how can you mess up a Johnsonville brat? Add subpar sauerkraut and a soggy bun, that's how. Would not recommend eating here. If this is Chicago's best, I would hate to see the worst.

We were planning on eating at the pizza place next door. When we arrived we could not remember which one we read reviews on and walked into Chicago's Best and placed our order. My wife ordered a slice of pizza while my son and I shared a large calzone. Considering there was only one other family inside waiting on food it took a very long time to get our food. The calzone was the largest I have ever seen and it was filled with good quality ingredients. The dough was crispy on the outside but still soft and slightly chewy on the inside. I ate a couple pieces my wife tried it and said it was better than her pizza, and my son ate a piece too. I decided to take the rest back to the room...... to bad it didn't make it out of the restaurant. It was so good I could not stop eating it!!! Only thing keeping this place from 5 stars is the fact that it is in need of a major makeover!

This place was super dirty; when I looked at the floor and mats in the kitchen after we ate, I gagged. Yuck, Yuck, Yuck! The sub sandwiches were "okay." I didn't think they were anything special. Portions were huge, however! Two people with average appetites could share one. By the time we ordered a salad and 2 subs with drinks, the bill was $26. I thought it was a bit overpriced for what you got. I ate here and at Cheesy Lees...and if I had to pick between the two, Cheesy Lees would be my choice any day of the week! Cheesy Lees offered an AWESOME pizza and a super clean restaurant and nice staff...and our bill at CL's was only $20!

So 2 weeks ago this place was pretty middle of the road when we got it. Soft crust and greasy. Well tonight we didn't feel like cooking and ordered it up again because lets face it, it was still the best pizza in town. Tonight the pizza was golden and crispy on the bottom and not greasy and tasty on top! I would give a 4 star if it was the same both times but consistency is key. And lets face it, this isn't "Chicago Style" Chicago Pizza is either cracker thin or 1 lb a slice thick with the sauce on top. This is neither. So as long as Chicago is in the title they'll never get a 5 star from me.

I have nothing good to say about this place. I only came here because Tonys pizza 2 doors down was closed. Ordered a medium pepperoni and sausage pizza as a side of fries. Fries were way undercooked and soggy and soaked with oil. Pizza tasted like a cheap frozen pizza I could buy for $2. The cheese tasted like rubber! Ingredients were obviously of cheap quality. The crust was hard and had a strange flavor. Dirty and old! The owners were in the corner doing paperwork, eating and on their laptops. The owner seemed bothered that we came in because he had to get up and make our order he had on his apron that was filthy typing away and eating, gross! I will never be back. Kitchen is open so you can see everything and how dirty it is. My bill was $21 and so not worth it!

I was just there a week ago. I think "Kristin" may have meant to review one pizza restaurant and instead accidentally reviewed Chicago's Best. I have been across the US and back and there are a handful of pizza joints that I look forward to dining in. To date?...Chicago's Best is my second favorite. Not to mention, if you are lucky to catch the owner's beautiful Greek boys working....oh la la! even better. Back to the pizza. I'm there for the gusto...none of this weak "I'll have a cheese pizza with a lettuce leaf on top" crap. I dig in on the meat lover's special. The sauce is tangy and not overly sweet. The toppings are fresh and plentiful...and they are VERY accommodating to your tastes. Mmmm...the crunch of the crust with each bite... I love it! No jaw aerobics with this crust. So...when I was there last week, almost the entire downtown was closed (Elkhorn dr.)...but not Chicago's Best...whyyyyyyy? Because all the locals love that place...for good reason.

This family joint was great!! Their pizza was amazing and their gyros were so delicious too. The prices were cheap and reasonable and you were in and out fast! Definitely recommend this place!!

The delivery took over an hour and a half. The pizza was not worth the wait. I liked the calzone though.

Stopped here after reading reviews. We were not disappointed! OMG the pizza was wonderful, friendly service. From Omaha , or this would be our new pizza place. Chicagos best is worth the stop!

Best pizza in Estes Park. Not the "nicest" interior but a great place to order take-out. They chicken ceasar salad wrap is really good too if you're wanting something more light. The owners are really nice people and have done a great job!! Try the homemade baklava (spelling?), it's yummy!!

Wow.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Excellent service, pizza, and seating. No complaints for a change.

(1)Joel L.
(3)Rev J.
(1)Jennifer S.
(5)Jolene L.

(1)Lawrence P.
(2)Pam L.
The only reason why they're getting one star is because I couldn't review none! We waited more than 30 minutes while 3 parties received their food and got theirs before us.

(1)thomas m.

(4)J P.
(2)Roger S.
Weird staff, awful pizza. It tasted like it was made with cheap ingredients and they seemed to be stingy with the pepperonis. Not recommended.
(1)Kat B.
Lols, ew. The food is on some generic Costco mass-produced tip. Everything is dirty; like, literal cobwebs. This is like one of those places you see on Bar Rescue where it's a total wreck and Jon Taffer has to go in and change everything. Actually, I know a girl who works for Jon Taffer. Maybe I'll put in a good word for these people so they can get their shit together.
(1)Callanmcl ..
Italian beef is very mediocre. It's definately no Portillo's. The peppers aren't the same, sandwich was overall very bland. I would pass on the beef here, other food did look good though.
(2)Matthew O.
(4)Corey R.
Great pizza but slow on a Monday night. My son really enjoyed the pizza.
(4)Joe M.
Chicken ranch bacon pizza is awesome. Greatest crust ever. If there is a line at the door dont worry.....moves quickly. They have a patio too.
(5)Shelle H.
(4)Rich S.
The food was fine, but the restaurant itself needs a lot of help. It's old, dirty and there is ONE small unisex bathroom. After all this time you'd think they'd be able to upgrade and remodel a bit. We probably won't go back with all the other pizza choices in Estes Park.
(1)Stacy S.
The pizza did not taste fresh. I ordered a veggie slice and it was flavorless and dry. The Greek salad was a bunch of lettuce. My husband didn't finish the 2 slices that he ordered. They were burned and dry . I won't ever come back.
(1)Mark V.
Slices came out burnt. Tastes like frozen pizza. Crowded and dirty. No beer. Will not be back.
(1)Estes L.
(2)Stephanie M.
Waited forever for our food and when we asked about it the staff acted confused about our order. Found out later the cook went on a smoke break. When we finally got the cheesesteak and Italian steak it was gross. It was really just tough roast beef with a lot of pepper. Will NOT ever go there again!!!!!
(1)Caleb D.
(3)Ruffy L.
(1)Jessica S.
Never have I been so sick in my life. I should have known from the sticky floor and the messy tables that I shouldn't have eaten here but I gave it a try. I was sick within hours and it ruined my visit. I would not recommend this place to my friends.
(1)Jessica G.
Excellent pizza! Highly recommend. We had the cheese & the meat lovers & they both had TONS of flavor. The crust isn't the boring flour crust , it's the yellow semolina one. Sooo good!!
(5)Kara B.
Not impressed. Paid $30 for a pizza that was so tasteless. Veggies on pizza made it watery, sauce & toppings were so bland. Cheese didn't taste like real cheese. Very disappointing.
(1)Sean C.
Pretty good food and friendly staff. Tried a calzone and a Santa Fe chicken sandwich. I ate here about two years ago and remember the calzone's are huge. The only downside is that with the doors open quite a few flies made their way into the restaurant. Worth a visit if you want a good calzone.
(4)Micah T.
(1)Eddie H.
Very slow service, greasy, oily food if you like that sort if thing. Bring a towel to soak up the grease :)

(4)David W.
Recommended thick crust pizza. Take out or delivery. Indoor and outdoor seating but not a showplace. Parking in city lot behind restaurant.

(2)Bob G.
This is the real deal.If you are in search of Italian Beef sandwich. Look no further. Great & friendly staff. Kind of a dive place but the food makes up for it.
(5)Erika G.
Visiting from Chicago, we tried this place 'cos we were starving and too lazy to make other plans. This joint can keep its name. The pizza is really delicious!
(3)Kinda Invisible S.
Rude employee, substandard food. What else can you say about a place that gives you serious stomach issues? It came recommended by one of the shop owners down the street who we now think gets a kick-back or something. Avoid!!
(1)Katie S.
(5)Billy H.
(1)George B.
(1)Flash ..
Stopped in for a quick bite at lunch. Had a Philly Cheese steak it was nothing to write home about. Decent but was lacking rich flavor and bread got way too soggy too fast.
(2)Obi W.
Excellent service, pizza, and seating. No complaints for a change.

(4)Rich S.
The food was fine, but the restaurant itself needs a lot of help. It's old, dirty and there is ONE small unisex bathroom. After all this time you'd think they'd be able to upgrade and remodel a bit. We probably won't go back with all the other pizza choices in Estes Park.
(1)Rev J.
(1)Jennifer S.
(5)Callanmcl ..
Italian beef is very mediocre. It's definately no Portillo's. The peppers aren't the same, sandwich was overall very bland. I would pass on the beef here, other food did look good though.
(2)Jolene L.
(2)Cheryl R.
Indoor seating is cramped but outdoor seating is good. My son wanted pizza with bacon and pepperoni and was told that he couldn't order it because all the slices of pizza were made and frozen. I suspect our large pizza dough had been frozen as well, it had a tough chewy consistency.
(1)Ron K.
(1)Jason V.
(1)Estes L.
(1)Caleb D.
(3)Ruffy L.
(1)Micah T.
(1)Eddie H.
Very slow service, greasy, oily food if you like that sort if thing. Bring a towel to soak up the grease :)
(4)Stuart J.
Corn flour pizza crust. Couldn't taste pineapple in the Hawaiian slice. Should've gone to Bob& Tonys.
(1)Akyelus D.
Went here for the 2nd time and I totally love their pizza!! Best pizza in Estes and even better than other pizzas I've had. If you like the "crunchy" type of crust then this is your place. Why 4 stars? Place looks a little bit desorganized and service was kind of slow.
(4)Brian H.
Very good pizza with an excellent hand-tossed crust - perfect balance of thickness, chewyness, and crunchiness. Toppings were fresh and abundant. I'd hit this place up again the next time we're in EP.
(4)Elyse F.
(5)Susan M.
Worst lunch ever. Service was fast and that is only good thing to say, except for clean outside dining. But food was lousy. Salad was yuck - lettuce was brown on edges. Philly cheese steak was worst ever. Do not recommend this place unless hungry and not picky!
(1)Diane D.
(2)Penelope B.
(4)Nora F.

Really good calzone, fresh ingredients, excellent dough and sauce! Got spinach mushroom large calzone, it was cheap and plenty for the two of us. The outdoor seating is a plus, the indoor seating not so good. Really good calzone, fresh ingredients, excellent dough and sauce!
(1)Breanna T.
I have to say I followed my nose right in the door! The workers here are amazing! The food is great and it's a fun place to hang out! I would love to come back here the next time I'm in Colorado!

(4)Kelley S.
(2)Matt T.
(3)Joe Y.
Made to order $7-8 Calzone but it took over 20min to make. Portion size large enough to feed 2 people. Entrance on both sides so you can enter from the south parking lot.
(3)Laura W.
The calzones are phenomenal here. Worth the 20-minute wait! Great place to pop in for pizza, sandwiches, etc. The service is not high-caliber as they shout your name to bring your food, but that's ok for a pizza joint with tasty food.
(4)Bianca P.

Best Italian beef sandwich in the universe
(5)Veruca S.
My only complaint...they don't deliver to Denver!

Avoid!!
(1)Katie S.
(5)Billy H.
(1)George B.
(1)Flash ..
Stopped in for a quick bite at lunch. Had a Philly Cheese steak it was nothing to write home about. Decent but was lacking rich flavor and bread got way too soggy too fast.

My only complaint...they don't deliver to Denver!

Recommended thick crust pizza. Take out or delivery. Indoor and outdoor seating but not a showplace. Parking in city lot behind restaurant.

Had Italian beef and french fries first visit. Very good, authentic. Second visit, got pizza. Not Chicago deep dish, but good pizza. Prices very reasonable. I recommend this place.

This family joint was great!! Their pizza was amazing and their gyros were so delicious too. The prices were cheap and reasonable and you were in and out fast! Definitely recommend this place!!

Wow.
